About This Material
440C is a high-carbon martensitic stainless steel powder with a particle size of <22 µm, suitable for Binder Jetting, Metal Injection Molding (MIM), and other powder-based manufacturing methods. It delivers high hardness, excellent wear resistance, and moderate corrosion resistance in fresh water, mild acids, and petroleum-based environments. Its fine particle size and spherical shape support uniform density and reliable sintering results - ideal for precision tools, components, and parts in medical or aerospace applications.
